Big teddy bears

Big teddy bears are loved by all children and can be bought or even made for an extra sentimental touch. Making teddy bears, especially big ones, requires time, tools, and know-how. Here are a few things needed to make them:

• Assess skills – Simply knowing how to sew may not be enough to be able to put together big teddy bears. A person sewing one of these teddy bears also must be able to attach arms and legs using intricate seams.

• Get tools in place –In addition to a sewing machine, all the sewing supplies needed to do hand stitching are also needed. Scissors and glue are also needed to finish the big teddy bears.

• Time – Anyone hoping to create big teddy bears for a child for a birthday should plan on at least two months’ time to assemble all the items and put them together.

There are also kits for big teddy bears available that are the easiest route to making a bear at home. Kits have all the pieces needed in one place and are the best option for first-time bear builders.
